So I went with my dad to the Nutter Center, near Wright State University, and registered for the 5K run. For those of you who don't know, that's about 3.1 miles. I ran my 5K in about 24 minutes 45 seconds or so, maybe less but who's complaining, its a time and that's it. I did my best when I ran only stopping when I absolutely had to. What made my day at the 5K was the fact that I 1: Three of my friends from Operation Purple 4-H camp. 2: I saw one of my young men's leaders after the 5K run. 3: And I got a 5K running shirt for doing it, and a Finisher's Medal. Well got to work the marathon tomorrow so I'll see you around.
